New Blog Hits Article Marketing On The Link Building Head
There’s a new blog in town and I quite like it. It’s got a long name, but it states exactly what it is so I guess that’s ok. The blog is called The Business Owner’s Guidebook to Web 2.0 Design and Promotion and is located online at http://www.webdesignandpromoguidebook.com.
This morning the guidebook wrote about article marketing and it was a pretty decent post from a new blogger. They hit article marketing on the head. At least I can say that. Here’s a little snippet:
Link building has become on of the most important aspects of building a website and article marketing is one of the most important aspects of getting that done. To do it properly you need to a broker – someone who will ensure that your articles are picked up and published by the right people within your niche. That broker is the article directory. It’s totally free.
I’ve never quite thought of it like that. It does ring true, however. Article directories are like free link brokers. You don’t have to pay them anything and you get tons of benefit if you do it right. You start off by writing a quality article, which you submit to the article directory (your broker), who will in turn market the article. Webmasters and e-zine publishers in your niche go to the article directory to find articles that they can publish and if they like your article then they will publish it (again, for free). The more publishers you can get to publish your articles the more links you will build. Quality articles get lots of publication credits. And that’s about all there is to it.
