Can Article Marketing Be Social?

Is article marketing simply writing an article and distributing to a thousand different websites with no social benefits? Actually, I think article marketing is at its best when it’s social.

There are article marketing sites that now try to make article marketing a social activity. LinkedIn is a social network that allows you to publish your own articles. I believe Ryze does this as well.

The surest way to engage in article marketing as social networking is to bookmark your articles once you’ve submitted them to article directories. This gets your articles some exposure and the potential for more publishers to publish them. Some articles directories like EzineArticles and Article Dashboard provide forums for article marketers and it’s a great place to meet other article marketers and publishers.

Article marketing is not just a write and submit task. It’s also social.
