Do Keyword Research Before Writing Articles

I’m amazed at how many article marketers do not do any keyword research before they start writing. They’ll pick a topic and just start writing with no thought as to what people are searching for. You can’t be successful with article marketing if you do not do this.

Keyword research not only keeps you focused on a topic that people are interested in, but it tells you which words are best for use in the articles you want to write. For instance, if you are a plumber and you want to write about leaky faucets it might help you to know that people use the keyword “kitchen sink” a lot. If you know that “kitchen sink” is used more often than “leaky faucets” then you can write your article around the keyword “kitchen sink” and still discuss the topic of leaky faucets. You will be much more effective that way.

The best article marketers do their keyword research before they start writing. They identify their top keywords before ever writing that first word. Then they write each article around a specific keyword related to their niche. If you do your keyword research first then you can write all of your articles at the same time and you will be much more effective in your marketing efforts.

Do Keyword Research Before Writing Articles…

Writing articles is one thing but it is likewise wise to note what keywords to use. Research first and then determine which keywords you should use in your article….
