Create Articles Out Of Press Releases

Remember that press release you wrote last summer and distributed to several press release directories? Remember how much money it made you when several industry news websites published it? Well, your special may have ended, but that doesn’t mean the press release has lost its value. You can turn into an article and republish it.

The first thing you need to remember about articles and press releases is that they are targeted to different audience. The press release is written for media personnel who will help you promote your business and give you added exposure to your target market. The article is written for the consumer of your product or service, the person you are trying to attract business from.

Why not take the same material that you put into your press release and rewrite it into an article? It’s less work than writing an article from scratch and you can use the same information. All you have to do is take your press release and extract anything that would not interest the end user of your product then rewrite the rest of the press release in such a way that it would be more interesting to the people you want to do business with. If necessary, add a little bit more information to flesh out the article a little more. After your press release has been reworked into a solid article, you can distribute it to several article directories so that the people you are targeting can benefit from it.
